Set in a peaceful location yet only a few minutes walk from Lostwithiel’s old town centre, riverside walks and several good pubs and restaurants, Penwood Forge provides comfortable en-suite rooms and safe off-road parking.

Food is not cooked or served here but a selection of teas, coffee, fruit juices, cereals, yogurts and fresh fruit is available, free of charge, on a “help yourself” basis. Guests may bring their own food and use the kitchen or sit in the garden with a “take-away”.

Our nearest pub, just 200yds away, does excellent meals from around £7 pp.

For those who must stay in touch, Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

 

Over the years, people from all over the world have discovered this to be an ideal little haven to explore Cornwall’s beautiful spring gardens, quaint little harbours, stunning coastal walks and the rugged granite tors and ancient monuments on Bodmin Moor.      "Muddy Boots" are not a problem.

For couples and those on their own, “Self Service” is a less expensive and more flexible alternative to “self catering” establishments and the more traditional B&B’s.

Our monthly rate might also be attractive to house renovators, job relocations or anyone seeking short term, temporary accommodation.
